The Buddhafest is fast approaching. The event website now has the schedule of all film, talks and dharma sessions. There are 11 films in all, plus five dharma talks and meditations by the likes of Sharon Salzberg, Tara Brach, Lama Surya Das, Lama Tsony and others. Saturday go from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, but the final slowing, The Buddha (the PBS special feature), must run until 11:00, I think. Sunday runs from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, but the closing program will go at least two hours. Is it humanly possible to take in the full festival?
Individual events will cost between $9 and$15, but you can buy special passes ($49.75 and $54.75) that allow you to take in multiple films, receptions, etc. It’s a bit complicated to explain here so check the site for details. Seating is limited so you will want to book ahead of time.
