Mea culpa about vegetarianism and yoga

Alan Little points out wisely in a comment to my entry, Why is yoga such a hot property in the U.S.? that “vegetarianism in connection with yoga is in no sense ‘new age’. It’s very much ‘old age’.” I have to confess that I have committed the sin of snap generalization — so prevalent among bloggers of all persuasions. I was in a rush to get a sweeping statement posted and did not think it through as thoroughly as required.

Alan’s personal weblog shows that he’s well ahead of this author in understanding the full ramifications of a serious yoga practice. Thanks Alan for leaving your mark on this blog.
